Item ValuesDKP will be awarded on a per-boss-kill basis. The value of bosses will be based on the tier of loot that they drop.
Tier 5: 10 dkp per boss, 15 for end boss.
Tier 6: 15 dkp per boss, 20 for end boss.
Minimum bids for items will be as follows:
Jewelry/Trinkets/Ranged/Cloaks = 2x boss value
Armor = 4x boss value
Weapons = 5x boss value
Nether Vortex = 10 dkp starting bid
Patterns = start bids at 10 dkp
Gems from Hyjal/BT = 15 dkp startig bid
Bidding ProcessWhen the raid leader announces a drop, he will call for the first round of bidding. If you are interested in purchasing the item, send the RL a tell with your bid. You will have 15 seconds only to bid before the round is closed. Tells that come in after the RL announces the end of the round will not be considered. It is the responsibility of everyone present to know in advance what items may drop and to have an idea of what they are willing to pay. The highest bid will be announced, and the item will be passed to the high bidder. In the event of a tie, an additional round will be used to determine the highest bidder.
Bidding EligibilityIn order to take part in the bidding process, you must have positive DKP. You may bid up to twice your current balance (e.g. if you have 30 DKP, you may bid up to 60). Alts who were needed for the raid are also elligible to bid, but can only bid up to 1x their current dkp. If no elligible main or alt can bid, or if no elligible main or alt chooses to bid in round 1, then the item will be opened to everyone in round 2. This means that mains/alts without enough dkp to bid the minimum, as well as initiates, will be able to bid if no elligible player placed a bid in round 1.
Other Information- This DKP system applies only to raids 25-man and larger.
- DKP earned during a raid will be awarded at the end of the night, available to spend on the next raid.
- There are presently no reserved items. Any person may bid on any drop they can use.
- This system is subject to change as we have a chance to evaluate its effectiveness and ease of use, but as usual no questioning, complaining, bitching, whining, name calling, hair pulling, or indignant diatribe will be permitted during raids.
